Barrels

This is a visual analysis of private space and how changed the perception of it in the era of globalization and virtualization. During the Revolution of Dignity in winter 2013/2014's people gathered on Maidan of Independence and the main city squares all over the Ukraine. They warmed themselves around the barrels with fire. People moved closer by narrowing the comfort zone to a few meters. Instead of the usual for us, comfortable and safe home space for a long time has become a public space at the Independence Square. People from different social classes and cities stood one-by-one without any aversion. Different confronting subgroups unite near the barrels and start to speak and know each other finding some common ground.
