This artwork of silk has its origin in an acrylic, 115 square meter work which I created for a building in Hokkaido. A collage of photographs I had the chance to take in the most beautiful National Parks in Hokkaido over a period of three years. Often I was asked to show the unseen details of this artwork, hanging high up in an atrium, and: here they are in a manageable size. I have chosen the material silk because it has all qualities I love, elegant semi-transparency, carrying the color with beautiful clearness almost equally on both sides and: silk is soft, strong and light at the same time. In fife year test phase we saw almost none desaturation of color with our material. It is easy to take care of, it is a natural material.
