My family had always been a unified whole — relatives from both my mother's and father's sides regularly gathered for weddings, birthdays, and New Year celebrations. But by the time I was born in the mid-2000s, that bond had already begun to fray. Family members passed away before I had the chance to know them, speak with them, or love them. Years later, I began to encounter them in a different way — through our family photo archive. Memories started to blossom in my mind, like wildflowers reclaiming forgotten soil.
