Get up again

Every walking human being on this planet has fallen and risen again. This very human act of rising from a fall can also be understood figuratively. The inspiration to this series of paintings came after a tough year long cancer treatment process. I literally felt like I had fallen down and had to learn to walk again – but physically and figuratively in so many areas. This series of paintings symbolizes the process of learning where failure (falling) where getting back up again is a big part of the process. When lining up the paintings in numerological order the series will look like a strip of cartoon.
