Island Pictures

These works, mostly small and boldly decorative, are all drawn from a sketch record of a 2000 trip around Southeast Asia. I visited Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia and stayed on the islands of Ko Phi Phi, Penang, Perhentian, Tioman and Bali, drawing in pencial and coloured crayon along the way. Seven years later this short print series emerged from the piles of scrappy papers I brought back.
