Reconfigurations

In this series of pictures, I'm exploring the idea of something that’s been tossed aside getting repurposed and reconfigured to make something new and lovely. The “pieces” in this series are meant to evoke discarded paper offcuts or fabric scraps, and to remind us that anything that’s discarded or fractured can be made whole again. But whatever it is won’t be the same: it will be beautiful in a new way altogether.
