Rainbow Grass

I made this series while travelling through rural Australia one winter. I had stopped beside a narrow country road to photograph some sheep on a hill in the distance. The setting sun was lighting them from behind creating an almost surreal halo effect. I soon noticed that same setting sun was washing through the long, wispy grass I was standing in. A soft wind moved it in what seemed a slow, seductive motion so I set about recreating what my imagination was showing me.
