Reflection

Reflection is a series of oceanscapes I photographed from 2007 to 2017. Each exposure being multiple minutes long, I was allowed to spend time meditating, contemplating, and reflecting on my past and current life choices and what I would choose to do in the future. Being alone on a cliff with nothing but the sea in front of me brought me to a place of calm where I was able to work out my problems. 2017 is where I unofficially figured things out for the better and I slowly stopped feeling the urge to escape to the sea.
