Today's science has allowed us to understand better the amazing sophistication of our organism and its architecture at a molecular level. But evidencing that each gear of its complex machinery also is a fragile point. Amino acids are considered building blocks of life. The serine molecule, is one of them, and essential in some metabolic, structural, immunological and signaling functions.
