Slime Series

Gabriella Anouk developed her expressive Slime Series during 2021. The Series consists of 7 hyperrealism works with a twist. All were inspired by the vegetables and fruit Gabriella had in her home during lockdown and 4 of the Series also were inspired by Emojis. She loves to disrupt her pieces and chose Slime to achieve this. Her process includes creating a 3-dimensional sculpture with slime, photographing the piece until she has the perfect image and then she uses pencil techniques on paper, which require hundreds of hours of dedicated time to complete each work.
