Smoke and Gold

Smoke and gold is inspired by a heart break and the alluring aspect of a woman smoking a cigarette, she’s a bad ass. And although Mariya is a non-smoker she can’t deny the “illusion as well as appeal” that creates this unusual series to come to life. This is her first series. Although a few pieces have sold both originals and prints she hopes to be able to reach a wider audience. This series was created to show strength, women’s sexuality, as well as some hidden and private feelings of love and pain.
