The Arabian Nights

I wanted a sense of infinity—a suspension in time caused by the act of storytelling—to come across in my paintings, through the atmosphere seemingly suspended in a theme of colour and bent perspective. This is what this series is meant to show—narrative is not linear, because retelling infinite stories requires us to put aside our notions of time happening day-by-day.
