The Flying Fish (2000 - 2003)

The Flying Fish is a series of staged photographs I did in Sweden between 2000 and 2003. The landscapes become a theater stage for surrealistic dream- and nightmare like scenarios in which the protagonists play archetypical rolls. The Flying Fish speaks about a world we are living in which resembles a mentally destructive machinery for people. The images are taken on 6 x 7 cm color negative and enlarged on Fuji photo paper in RA-4 process ( fully analog). No digital editing or retouch. The series has been exhibited in The Gothenburg Museum of Arts and in galleries in Sweden, France and Germany.
