The Italian Fairies

"The Italian Fairies" is a literary and painting project. It's a research and a study on Italian literature devoted to women writers who have worked, often under a pseudonym, in the second half of the nineteenth century and the early decades of the '900. For each of them, in a kind of marriage between the text and the pictures, I wanted to dedicate a "portrait" in which paintings, lines, shapes and colors become the thoughts (often hidden) who find a space in which to move and be free at last.
