THE ORIGIN For thirteen months award-winning artist, Kristin Llamas joined Alfonso Llamas on a journey across America. The husband and wife team sold their home and belongings to live and work for a year out of their Honda Element. The couple coined this ambitious vision The Nomadic Project and set out to “unite America through art.” To achieve such a vision, Kristin pledged to illustrate her inspirations through painting. As a painting was created in one state, it was exhibited at a gallery or museum in the next. The galleries were not pre-arranged, nor the route pre-determined.
