These Are The Good Times

I like to capture blithesome moments, playfulness and mischief. I am drawn to the enthusiasm of mid-century ads and photographs. I also like exploring the offbeat, aesthetic awkwardness of the 1970s. In this group I depict colorful, nostalgic, slightly ironic images of people enjoying happy occasions. Often when we are in the middle of joyous times with friends and family, we do not even realize it. Later we come to look back and cherish these memories and they seem to congeal into simple, bright, elevated images in our minds. When I capture these images, and they sit up on the wall, my hope is that they remind us to acknowledge what we feel lucky about.
