URBAN CATHEDRAL

The light girls represent how we perceive ourselves and how in turn we are perceived. I selected this location for its somewhat unique urban/rural fusion. I searched for a suitable setting for several months, finally settling on the bridge and surrounding areas. The bridge has the sanctity and unease of an urban cathedral that I was seeking. I proposed to assign each girl a character, a feeling of integrity, a belief and also insecurity. A mannequin in itself is designed to present fashion and to inspire; an icon to aim for, a dream perhaps. Each girl has their own goal and their own religion, their own image aura.
