This collection is of a study I made of the Alexander Calder sculpture, Two Disks, which sits in front of the Hirshhorn Museum on the National Mall in Washington, DC. The original photographic study was made in black and white; subsequently I found a subtle color toning process that added a new dimension to my re-interpretation of the sculpture. Furthermore, an additional color toning added yet another dimension to my vision of the sculpture that began to re-visit other artists such as Mark Rothko and Picasso. The re-interpretation is mine and of my visual interplay with the sculpture and no doubt there will be future iterations of this piece.
