Wakeful Dreams

The actual project contains nine canvases that are searching to expose concrete and thrilling realities of Est European contemporary life (Romanian life). My practice is defined by a social engagement that I propose as a social therapy without being didactic or moralizing. I believe in art potential to offer a diagnosis to an ill society and to present the deficiencies of the Est European countries: low birth rate, religion`s climbing in public space, the absence of a security system for old persons, the educational system precarity, forgetfulness of the recent history and emigration.
