"Wholesome."

Something about the old days of the 1950's attracts my style and aesthetic. With Hipsters and Rockabilly styles revamping that era, we have a cultural mishmash that combines aesthetics of that decade with others. When researching images, I choose images that I feel can be summed up in one word (sometimes two) to classify the image down to what I feel is its core concept. These images are carved into linoleum and printed with ink on newspaper, old book pages, and yellow books modified by watercolor.
