"When you've seen beyond yourself, then you may find, peace of mind is waiting there." -- George Harrison I go to the woods on trails near my home to make peace with the present moment. I come home to my studio and use litter I cleaned up or items from my recycle bin to recreate the nature and peace that lingers within me. From Trash to Trees, I am committed to creating beauty from the materials we waste. 'Just Breathe' is my newest Series where I have uniquely formulated a new method for distinctly layering watercolors to create greater texture, depth and dimension. This series maintains my quest to recycle materials, yet casts a softer and more tonal mood. All works from 'Just Breathe' Series are uniquely panel mounted watercolors with collage. Each piece is finished with two coats of archival satin varnish, creating a contemporary but natural look. The edges are either painted charcoal or left natural wood and finished with varnish as well, often displaying drips of paint from the process. The overall result is an aesthetically alluring and contemporary painting with a hidden message about protecting our forests. All works are Ready-to-Hang. This is a diptych. * Commissioned pieces using your color and size requests are available. Learn more about the Artist here:

Linda Klein, a nature-loving artist hailing from the Bay Area, California, embarks on a soulful journey that harmonizes realism and abstract expression. Unveiling her artistic flair in preschool, Linda's earliest creative adventures prompted her parents to enroll her in local art classes—a bid to save their home from toddler graffiti and nurture her burgeoning talent. Nestled in the wild beauty of West Marin since 2009, Linda draws inspiration from her surroundings. Her artistic evolution mirrors the diverse landscapes she calls home—ranging from detailed graphite drawings to vibrant, ecologically themed pieces infused with recycled collage elements. Linda's unique process involves mounting watercolor paper onto handcrafted wood panels which are often created by her equally talented woodworking husband. This technique imposes a modern eco-conscious approach that bypasses traditional framing. Linda's art is a personal reflection, resonating with the rhythms of nature. With an unwavering commitment to continuing her creative education and a dance between documentation and new realities, Linda Klein's journey is a deeply personal ode to the beauty of our planet.
