About The Artwork
Beauty and Purpose: This interactive abstract collage depicts the current public obsession of wanting to be someone else/ altering ones natural beauty. The mouth is set to be able to be lifted, revealing underneath the females natural self, covered by her insecurities from false perceptions of beauty. Bold messages read across the piece stating “The skin you’re in” .. “Beauty and Purpose”..”Color”.. & “Life is Beautiful”. These are meant to convey messages of confidence and love, to be comfortable with who you are and embrace your natural beauty. Theres no such thing as a life thats better than yours. For this series I made several collages. This is is a new style of art that I am experimenting with and have found allot of joy and inspiration while creating. Some have concrete inspirations and meanings, while others are left open to interpretation by the viewer. Each equally simple, yet vastly complex, and beautiful. I hope you enjoy this collection as much as I enjoyed creating them!

I am an Urban Artist from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the United States. I have been involved with art for as long as I can remember and am mostly a self taught artist. I graduated from the Tyler School of Art, Temple University in Philadelphia in 2019 and am eager to start making my mark in the art world. My traditional inspiration for my artwork comes from Vincent Van Gogh, Willem de Kooning, Jackson Pollock, and Andrey Bogoslowsky.
