About The Artwork
My work plays with an organic materiality, a little animal and vibrational, to make relation with life. The fibers of carded wool, thanks to the reaction of hot water and soap, stand up and overlap each other to create the felt. The material is irreversibly transformed, freezing time into the form, the drawing into the material. This work experienced to be pictorial without using painting, by using wool as a touch or a brushstroke and by reprensenting a realistic bloody heart.
