DISORDER Collage

Using a set of pastel colours in combination with primary colours, Nasbami made these works back in 2015. ‘Disorder’ is a collection of different abstract shapes, built up from the artist’s characteristic way of applying gradients. By playing with the negative space in this framework - which makes sure the objects aren’t connected - the artist is depicting the discontinuity between the different multi-colour objects in the entirety of the work. while certain objects form an indication of the presence of perspective, others don’t. In contrast to this ’disorder’ in shape, Nasbami created a soothing order in this image by using the same colours in every object. Price inclusive handmade wooden frame.
