It's about Love. This piece is part of our second tribute to our beloved George Michael on the first anniversary of his death, installed at 1104 2nd Avenue, New York, NY on Christmas Day 2017. It is a continuation of the series "Social Hearts". In this edition, titles of popular love songs of the late pop artist are used as the background. Hearts are spray painted and then a segment of the singer's outline silhouette is added on each piece. The full silhouette is formed when all six pieces are put together. it’s executed employing street art techniques and aesthetics.Part of the proceeds will benefit Housing Works. Signed on verso. On stretched canvas. Ready to hang. Currently on exhibition in NYC.

“Now that’s what I call art!” — Master Photographer Roy DeCarava, National Medal of Arts 2006, describing Tina Psoinos’s work. Multidisciplinary Artist and Fine Art Photographer Tina Psoinos’s extensive body of work showcases an alternative view of the world she sees, one that blurs the borders of reality and imagination. Intrigued by the ephemeral, ever-changing nature of the street art scene, Psoinos creates urban inspired art using mixed traditional and street art techniques with street art aesthetics while sneaking in personal references. Her portfolio includes a number of ongoing series that range from minimal to very complex imagery. Works explore female rights, empowerment and equality through pop culture, as well as love through social media. Drawing on powerful imagery, she uses these concepts to also create and develop inspired site-specific installations. Based in NYC, Psoinos has won numerous awards for her artistry and is currently shortlisted at EMST The National Museum of Contemporary Art in Athens Greece for her Empty Pro(e)mises proposal. Her work is in private and public collections around the world.
