'Mustard' Hand Embroidery by Katie Wells Collage

‘Mustard’, Abstract Embroidery on Felt by Katie Wells December 2016 Measurements Embroidery Diameter: 5.5” Frame Size: 10 x 10 x 1.75” ‘Mustard’ is a hand stitched embroidery on white felt, created freely without using a pattern. The work combines mainly satin stitch and french knots to create a textured surface. Mustard yellow, green and charcoal hues make up most of the stitches, with fuchsia and light blue accents. The finished piece is mounted on foamboard and laced at the back so that the embroidery stays taught. The artwork comes ready to hang in a white box frame with a white circular mount. A metal sawtooth picture hook is attached to the back of the frame so that it can be hung with ease. Delivery and Packaging: All artworks come well packaged in bubble wrap and cardboard.
