He works in many mediums and techniques including intaglio printmaking, monotype, collage, watercolor, film photography & drawing. His collages started as simple exercises in abstract composition and color, and have since become an essential daily part of his design practice. He uses images and text found while digging through the many old used bookshops in Tokyo and rearranges and sometimes destroys them creating new compositions and meaning.
