Amid COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) the public's response has resulted in Uncertainty, Anxiety and Compulsive Consumption Patterns which in return have resulted in a Shortage of Meds and Supplies. One of the first items to fly off the shelves was Toilet Paper. In this collection, the artist explores the latest news in her signature multi-layering style while continuing her ongoing series. Humor and satire are used as she believes it is essential to remain optimistic and even laugh in the face of this crisis. Using humor to take back control and connect. This artwork is a satire of the toilet paper shortage. It is made with upcycled layers of paper to mimic the look of wrinkled and torn street posters. Finished with resin for a high gloss effect. Mounted on wood. Measures 12" diameter. It can be framed or be hang from a cleat.

“Now that’s what I call art!” — Master Photographer Roy DeCarava, National Medal of Arts 2006, describing Tina Psoinos’s work. Multidisciplinary Artist and Fine Art Photographer Tina Psoinos’s extensive body of work showcases an alternative view of the world she sees, one that blurs the borders of reality and imagination. Intrigued by the ephemeral, ever-changing nature of the street art scene, Psoinos creates urban inspired art using mixed traditional and street art techniques with street art aesthetics while sneaking in personal references. Her portfolio includes a number of ongoing series that range from minimal to very complex imagery. Works explore female rights, empowerment and equality through pop culture, as well as love through social media. Drawing on powerful imagery, she uses these concepts to also create and develop inspired site-specific installations. Based in NYC, Psoinos has won numerous awards for her artistry and is currently shortlisted at EMST The National Museum of Contemporary Art in Athens Greece for her Empty Pro(e)mises proposal. Her work is in private and public collections around the world.
