Averrhoa Group - Angry Starfruit Series - 'Jungle Heliconia' Artwork

Description/inspiration of work: This is a new set of works that hark back to the 'Angry Amoeba Series we introduced some time agao" . In this small series, We're noticed an interesting 2d-like development as we worked with the original files. To us, the mutations resembled the shape of a tropical fruit, the Star Fruit - {Averrhoa carambola) The Averrhoa Group members are all similar morphologically, but fascinatingly different color combos and schemas. The elements keep producing mutations out to nearly 100 different configurations but we'll limit what we upload. This group motif is still focusing on the Julian Fractal Algorithm. This next offering is titled - - 'Jungle Heliconia'. An interesting work done in various rich green shades but with a startling dart of bright red, that reminded us of the tropical ornamentals regarding the genus Heliconia. Tiny flecks of blue add some transitory interest. The usual tiny interior fractal geometries are present. This work has complimentary looping folds of shaded gradation that roughly follow the contour and loop back to the central motif. Also the roughened, look of the entire work has its particular allure.
