Series of 18 works on the theme of the representation of women in the History of Art, "Les Loans". These are not quotes from authors but borrowings transformed and modified for artistic creation. Colors, textures, size, transparency ... are my compositional tools for these assemblage paints. In the end, the borrowings, so combined, make the representation enigmatic. Only breadcrumbs will help you find your way around ... The Fine Art digital pigment print on arch paper has a rendering close to screen printing and the grain of the velvety paper gives the work a discreet and sensual presence.

Guillaume-André MORINET lives and works in Ile-de-France where his workshop is located. Attracted very early by painting, he received complete artistic training at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Art in Paris. He then deepened his research at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. The abstract work of Guillaume André MORINET is at the crossroads of an experimentation with spontaneous gesture and a questioning of the materiality of the support. He is interested in the informal and the dynamics of the traces left by his gestures. His goal is to preserve the appearance of forms that occur during his work sessions.
