Ololade Ajala, born in Osun State (b. 1992), is an emerging artist based in Lagos, Nigeria. She holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Fine and Applied Arts, specializing in Painting, from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State. Her passion for art began in childhood, with a love for sketching on paper. With a refined sense of color and composition, Ololade's artistic style blends impressionism with touches of expressionism, drawing inspiration from her deep love for nature and human relationships. Her work is a dialogue between tradition and modernity, capturing the spirit of Africans with a fresh, contemporary lens. Ololade’s oil paintings celebrate identity, resilience, elegance, and self-expression. In this, “I find an endless bliss to make people see the beauty contained in the multiple facets of human life to strengthen human bonds, and lift up souls”. She continuously explores and pushes the boundaries of her creativity, combining innovation with her personal artistic voice. Ololade is a member of the Society of Nigerian Artists (SNA Lagos). She has participated in some group exhibitions, namely: Visual Dialogues organized by the Female Artists Association of Nigeria, Strength of a Woman 2, SisterArt's 2nd International Arts & Culture Exhibition (both in 2022), and the Miniature Art Fair, Lagos, in 2023 and 2024. Also, she was part of the exhibiting artist in the Life in My City Festival, LIMCAF 2025 Art Exhibition, Lagos Zone.
