My artistic work is influenced by the 20th-century figurative tradition, particularly the Austrian Expressionism of Egon Schiele and Gustav Klimt. I strive to reinterpret and blend these influences with my personal taste, combining them with postmodern techniques such as acrylic, ballpoint pen, charcoal, and watercolor. My female portraits, in particular, are enigmatic and ambivalent. At first glance, they might seem like portraits of ordinary and reassuring women, but upon closer inspection, one can discover a subtle unease that invites not to stop at the surface but to uncover the charm of a soul that is both sunny and restless. My works, created with techniques like ink, pastel, and ballpoint pen on paper, and acrylic shaded with metallic pigments, aim to provoke thought and emotion in those who observe them. Drawing and painting are my main sources of artistic expression. I have spent many years developing my skills and experimenting with different techniques, such as watercolor, acrylics, metallic pigments, and pastels. My favorite subjects are women, whom I often represent as evocative and restless figures, inspired by the Austrian Expressionism of great artists like Egon Schiele and Gustav Klimt. Their ability to convey intense emotions through their drawings has always been a source of inspiration for me. Drawing and painting are ways for me to express my true essence and explore my deepest emotions. Capturing beauty, whether it is a portrait of a person or a landscape, is a challenge that excites me and drives me to continue learning and experimenting with new techniques and styles. Watercolor, with its lightness and transparency, is one of my favorite materials, and I enjoy experimenting with effects like splatters and gradients to create a unique atmosphere. Acrylic, with its fast drying time, allows me to work quickly and spontaneously, while the addition of metallic elements like gold or silver adds brightness and brilliance to my works. Finally, charcoal and pastels help me give depth and nuances to my pieces, completing them perfectly. In conclusion, drawing and painting are sources of inspiration and artistic expression for me, and every time I pick up a pencil or brush, I feel like I can do anything, a feeling that fills me with happiness and satisfaction. I am confident in my abilities and, as a self-assured adult, I feel ready to face any challenge.
