During their daily trips in Lima city´s chaotic public transport, Abozaglo observed people in different moods or with curious appereance crossing their path. It was there when the taste for creating abstract portrait characters was born, using drawing, collage and mixed media to capture the great variety of states of human being. This is a peruvian non binary artist based in Madrid that during their art studies of sculpture at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú it`s where they dicovered that art can be a tool to express their feelings and understand the world we live in. Since then, the sculptural creations began with an interest on the places we live in and how the perception of a space can be changed thanks to art pieces. It start approaching reality with surreal installations where you can walk and see how the atmosphere of the place changes with sculptures. There were assemblies that mix different materials such as wood, metal, stone, ceramic and other found objects such as intervened chairs. The simultaneous interest in dance lets them to become a dance therapist and take body movement as part of each artwork process and at the same time transforming it into self therapy. It has had group exhibitions in Perú, Colombia and Spain. And later began to venture into digital illustration with the same ease as in their stylograph drawings, adding color and intervening on spontaneous photographs taken while walking. Every little detail is an inspiration to create something new!
