Four spiritual warriors in brown ink can be seen on a peony background. The shape of the peony field reminds of an ancient Chinese "cong". – A cong is a tube of square cross section pierced with a circular hole that was made as a ritual object. They often were made of jade. The function of this cong might have been to protect (the house). "Spiritual Warriors in Four Directions (peony)" (2019) Ink-jet Print 1 of 3; 100cm x 100cm. Edition 3 + 1AP (the Artist's proof is for my archive). Printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta paper 315 g/sqm with archival inks, to ensure the quality and longevity of the print. The print comes with a small white board. Signed by the artist on the back of the print and shipped well protected in a tube (in a tube).
