Harry ‘Haz Barx’ Barker studied at the renowned Manchester High School of Art, class of 72. The proud school crest declared 'Exploramus' (We Explore). In 1971 after five turbulent but priceless years under his fine art mentor Mrs. Elaine Middleton, she awarded Harry the ultimate accolade by way of announcing the highest end-of-course assessment score that she had ever given a student during her long service at the school. The respect was mutual and Harry was both moved and honoured by her words. The gesture was never forgotten. Now, some 50+ years on, his work draws from a lifetime's Exploramus in Art and Photography. Often infusing and enhancing the influences of watercolours and pens, oils and pastels, within a now firmly embedded passion for digital art. A diagnosis of stage 3 cancer in 2022 was a stark reminder that a showcase of Harry's work was well overdue, which at long last brings us to the here and now... Today Harry's creative work is produced entirely in digital media and exists in file format only, as high resolution print-ready artwork stored and supplied in secure PDF, JPEG or PNG formats. All works come complete with a binding certificate of authenticity and comprehensive transfer of image ownership including all copyrights.
