"The Visionary" - 3rd Sight Artwork

These images represent different direction and style on my creations comprising the The Visionary Group - Ocularis Series. This group, the elements are composed of roughly circular against a background either vertical or horizontal. This series uses a spherical/ovoid object to compose the picture, that can be internally complex. Composed of different shapes they diffract into a circular ovoid around each other. Many of these objects have concentric layers, further enhancing their unique complexity. Many different color schemes make up this series, although we tend to favor muted monochromatic colors and tints. Even the backgrounds are highly varied in their composition. This next offering is titled - - "The Visionary" - 3rd Sight I'm fascinated by colors, shades, tints, tones, and values. Shapes are another interest of mine as well. It is a definite challenge to combine all of the above concepts into a coherent piece of art. I also hope to improve and develop my skills to start depicting surreal landscapes and terrains. The components are assembled separately and color matched by hand. My mediums of choice are Illustrator, Photoshop, Pixarra, and Corel Draw, with its attendant celebrated Painter. I use a Wacom tablet to paint, draw, and otherwise fill in my colors and components. This peripheral is very handy, considering I can't hold a brush/paintbrush for very long, being disabled. All of my work is 300 ppi or better in resolution, giving the best print quality possible. I employ the best print paper medium i can locally procure -- 210 - 300 gsm, archival cotton rag mostly, although some of my works look better with Matte paper. All of my works are printed Giclee style mostly, although I exploring the use of metallic inks on a few of my works. Future plans are to include fabric, and framing with my offerings.
