ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Bargue inspired my original drawing because it was sensual and poignant. I then merged this charbone drawing with one of my Flow series paintings to create a new media work.The resulting flow and merge of pencil line and thickly flowing paint in a limited palette presents a more nuanced image, more suggestive than either original alone."Immortal" because it is in images that people may so live on.
