ABOUT THE ARTWORK

When I was about five years old grandmother would take me to church. I did not find it very interesting and would got bored. The only source of entertainment I had there was a small prayer-book with some monochromatic engravings. I would look at the lucid lines on them and could not understand how it's been done. I did not understand that it was printed i thought it was a very professional drawing. There was all kinds of angels and dragons. I liked it very much and still do. In between the pages I would find added colorful cards with something like Raphael's Sistine Madonna. I remember them being full of light. I remember fresco on the ceiling being darkened by old age. I liked them too but they were very high up above and prayer-book was in my hands. I would never get bored of looking at engravings and pictures.

SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Delivery Time:

Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I admire the work of great masters more that contemporary art. I like Raphael, Durer, Rembrant, Escher, Dali. Although nowadays installation, conceptual art and performance art are getting way more popular. It never appeared interesting to my eyes. I think it's rather bullshit. Treating your audience like a bunch of fools, in many cases. But that is only one persons opinion. Also Exhibitions and sales doesn't make art better. It's the other way around. Isolation can reward your work with maturity. I don't think that I have unique style but I do not copy others. In a whole wide world of art my authorities are two Lithuanian artists Liudas Truikys and Mikalojus Konstatntinas Čiurlionis. They are unique. There's nobody else like them.
