Ancestral Women V Drawing

This series is based on the idea that memories are recreated every time we return to them. The reasons, possibly unconscious, depend on the moment in life we rescue them and bring them to the present. On paper with a strong but rough structure, layers of charcoal accumulate, drawing small shapes that are grouped as if in need of each other. They hang from an uncertain origin in a space that we do not cover. But we do have the feeling that these… drops? seeds? leaves? clams? keep assembling as we look at them. Similar forms, but this time translucent, veil some sectors. We see and we do not see. The certainty of black on white fades.
