The modern world is an era of consumption. Capitalist society seeks consumer goods and comfort. As a result, a person acquires things that are becoming more and more, until they turn into mountains of useless garbage, beyond which the consumer’s personality itself can be lost.

This concept can be viewed from two sides.

1. The works of the “Things” series carry an environmental dimension. The waste products of human life reach insane proportions. Perhaps soon among them there will be no place for the person himself.

2. Thrown things can be perceived as a symbol of thoughtless actions. Garbage is not only things, society itself becomes a garbage container, everything has become things. We are so obsessed with the material that we turn actual technological progress into tragic spiritual regression. Just like things, we use people and situations, we change and neglect, throwing something human out of ourselves onto the mountains of dumps.
