ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Having always been a fan of Audrey Hepburn, I stumbled across a little known photo of her taken by Yousuf Karsh in 1956 and was utterly captivated by it. I wanted to draw it immediately with the intention that it would be my masterpiece. I have always drawn in the style of realism and charcoal is best for me to achieve the highest quality results. I have found myself staring at this piece for long random durations and hope that you will too. The very pose captured is thought-provoking and mysterious. In my opinion the greatest photo of Audrey Hepburn ever taken, and one of my greatest drawing achievements.
