About The Artwork

This work was inspired by my wife. I made a drawing of her with charcoal and then used ink and a bit of gouache. The title is for fun as she looks a bit bored when posing. "Cache-cache" is the name in French of the hide-and-seek game. This drawing/painting is part of a series, produced in Japan from September to November 2021, and made on a traditional Japanese support called "Shikishi".
