Charlie is an independent artist who loves nature. Most of his works are landscape paintings, still life paintings, and flower paintings. He creates Acrylic paintings and Oil paintings, most of which are finished in his workshop. Charlie majored in painting and art history during his bachelor and master. As a result, he has a solid foundation in painting, as well as broad knowledge and deep understanding of art history. His favorite artists are Oscar-Claude Monet and Vincent Willem van Gogh. Oscar-Claude Monet’s sensitivity in art and Vincent Willem van Gogh’s profundity always impress him and motivate his creation. Because of his personality, Charlie mostly uses realistic techniques in his landscape, flower, and still life paintings. In his works, he pays extra attention to the expression of artistic conception, the rationality of details, and put his affection for nature into it. He believes that paintings are not only about what you see but more importantly, about your understandings. It is the understanding from the artist that guides the viewer to really understand painting. The appreciation of paintings needs to be based on understanding. In this way, the beauty of painting can be everlasting and attracts people as always.
