Portraiture has always been the primary creative output of my art work. My early work explored a variety of different media and techniques combined with a vibrant use of colour in an attempt to convey the emotion and personality of my subjects. Musicians and comedians feature heavily in my work as I am very passionate about music and comedy. My most recent artworks have utilised the lessons learned from previous projects and are a light hearted take on cultural, political and social issues which uses both technique and humour to critique and poke fun at popular culture.
