Community U.S.A Drawing

Community U.S.A is artwork based on the many cultures living in our country, the U.S.A. It shows the world how we can live in harmony under our differences in one place. When I grew up as a little girl, our country was called the "Melting Pot" meaning many cultures in one place. Now, today our neighborhoods are becoming more diverse. Community U.S.A is a portrait of some cultures drawn in charcoal on four individual acrylic painted canvases attached to strips of wood in red and white acrylic paint. Already, I have in mine to work on another work in this subject. It is so amazing to come across many cultures all in the same places, like the stores, concerts, stadiums, schools, churches and now even our neighborhoods! It is definitely how our universe is made.
