ABOUT THE ARTWORK
An Abstract Ink Drawing with geometric lines and patterns , a combination of crossing lines and rhythms creating shapes filled with fine lines and details as well as painted areas with a grey scale of warm and cold toned hues. A spontaneous work inspired by patterns and flowing rhythms of natural forms. Drawn with dip pen and black ink and the painted areas using cold & warm tone inks on Acid Free 170gsm paper. All inks used are light fast and of the highest quality. This is an unframed work, signed on the lower right with a 1.5 cm unpainted white border all around it. 43 x 60 cm. / 16.9 x 23.6 inches.

He has lived around the world in Spain,Mexico,Paris and England. This has created a very mixed cultural background which has influenced his work. Working in Painting & Drawing his work is mainly Abstract but also often uses the subject of landscape and nature. His main interest is in 'the nature of the spiritual' and different 'states of being' he experiences in nature etc. He studied art at the Institute of Fine Art & Design in Southampton.England. His work can be found in private collections in the UK and abroad.
