A friend of mine said one day that my art felt like a "gut", and I found this sounded right. My approach is responsive, and goes through a number of tortuous paths, infinite ones, I hope. My black & white visuals are alive, wave-like, extraordinary… I draw with a brush marker on paper, with no sketching beforehand, since I want my instincts to be revealed gradually. I draw as I feel the momentum, my vision comes from inside, and there is no subject, nor real object whatsoever. I look forward to inventing a form that only exists in my world. I want to reveal the intimate, the hidden, a part of my truth that remains invisible. I need to improvise, in order to go from surprises to suspended moments. Being my first audience, watching the composition evolving, at every stage of the performance. Till the very end of this process, or till that moment when I no longer know for sure what to do, till the feeling "it is all done already", this is where I consider my creation is completed. My ambition is to draw the hidden face of humanity.
