Hey! My name is Alexander Butylin, I am from the city of Krasnoyarsk. Graduated from the Krasnoyarsk Art College named after V.I. Surikov with a degree in Theater Artist, as well as the Krasnoyarsk Art Institute at the Department of Interior Design. I am professionally engaged in interior design. But drawing still remains with me. I just can't help but draw. It's like an internal itch: in order to calm it down, I need to draw at least a little. Challenges on Instagram are very helpful: #inktober, # 365sketches, #guessthefilmsketch, #drawingphoto. Thanks to one of them, in 2018 my personal exhibition "Every Day" took place in the art gallery of Krasnoyarsk. I work mainly in the Linocut technique, but I also like to tackle a simple pencil, ink, tempera, acrylic, pastel and collage. In my works, I try to show different sides of the human personality, including its darkest corners. Sometimes there is no deep meaning in the images, but this does not prevent them from being on paper.
