Picasso had reached his peak of Synthetic Cubism, when "Picasso-Style" became a wide spread fashion by the 1950s in Europe. It was also the time when Rock & Roll started to become fashionable among Europe's teenagers. This is a drawing of a Picasso-styled woman giving birth to Elvis Presley, while the screams of birth pain are being recorded by an RCA Victor microphone. The piece combines pencil/ crayon drawing and collage.
