ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Dimensions - 45x65 cm (unframed) x 60x80 cm (framed) Drawing : watercolour, coloured pencil, felt pen, collage, wax. Paper - Folded, dyed as much as possible with vegetables or plants or ink, watercolour and glued to get layers of papers 90% japanese papers (Washi, Gampi…) but also Lokta, wood fiber, some of papers are handmade by myself Mount - It is recommended to keep this piece float mounted when framing. Framing - This artwork is sold framed. Frames are hand crafted. Float mounted in a bespoke, handmade. The frame is a deep box frame, high quality plexiglas fronted. This serie of abstract is born after I did an internship to learn how to create artistic paper from fiber at the Letellier-Nakamura workshop, unique in Europe. I am doing it in the most organic way possible.
